Maiko Yukino knows that her underachieving friend Reiji Oozora possesses the skill and intelligence to be more than the poor student he is. To help him better himself, Maiko introduces Reiji to Dragon Drive, a virtual reality game where players team up with dragons to do battle in a virtual city. Though it started as a game, Dragon Drive has become all too real. A tour of the game's training room ended with him making the crossover to Rikyu, a place known as the other Earth. In these episodes, Reiji adjusts to life in this new reality. He takes on an enormous monster dragon in order to rescue a kidnapped woman.
