Based on the popular computer/PlayStation game of the same name, the ARC THE LAD anime focuses on Elk, Arc's occasional ally. Elk's town had been attacked by a group of marauders early in his life, and now, hoping for revenge on the band of thieves that killed his family, Elk searches for the crew of the Silver Noah, the ship that carried the attackers.
