When 15 year-old Kagome Higurashi falls down a well, she finds herself magically transported to medieval Japan, a place inhabited by demons and goblins. Here, she must search the countryside with the demon dog Inuyasha for the sacred Jewel of Four Souls. Inuyasha is half human and half demon. The jewel, now broken into shards, would fulfill Inuyasha desire to finally become full fledged demon. In these three episodes, Inuyasha and his friends go to the Coastal Region to fight a mass of Bat Demons. Inuyasha meets another half demon, a bat girl named Shiori. They form an emotional bond based on their half-breed status, but Inuyasha learns the only way to increase his power is to kill her. Also, a pack of demon cats kidnap Kagome for the jewel shards.
