The stalwart mecha genre gets a new spin from renowned anime studio Gonzo (LAST EXILE, HELLSING) in GAD GUARD. In the far future, delivery boy Hajiki`s life is changed forever when he stumbles across a GAD. The GAD is a technological wonder, a high-tech device that grows into a huge robot that is forever linked to a human counterpart. Now that Hajiki is joined with such a device, he is drawn into the world of action and suspense that surrounds all of the GAD controllers. VOLUME SEVEN: STAR TRAVEL collects the final three episodes of the anime series. Hajiki plans to travel to space, succeeding in the task that his father failed. But his enemies will try to stop him, not realizing that the trip could lead to the discovery of the true origin and purpose of the GADs.
