The coming-of-age romance anime PIANO: THE MELODY OF A YOUNG GIRL`S HEART looks at the mental and emotional development of talented young pianist Miu and her best friend Yuki. Miu, who has played the piano since she was a girl, has recently begun to neglect her instrument in the face of the challenges of adolescence, much to the chagrin of her teacher Mr. Shirakawa. CONFESSIONS is the second volume collecting the anime series, and features episodes 4-7. With her birthday coming up, Yuki has decided to tell handsome Takizawa that she has a crush on him. Miu worries that the popular guy will reject her, but she has problems of her own, as Mr. Shirakawa has nominated her to play at a prestigious piano recital.
