Another entry in the popular TENCHI group of Anime series, TENCHI IN TOKYO sends its titular hero to the biggest city in Japan to find new adventures and a new love. Tenchi's grandfather sends him to Tokyo to further his education, and so he must leave his outer space girlfriends behind. Luckily super-genius Washu creates a transportation device so they can keep an eye on Tenchi, only to discover he's found a new love, Sakuya. TENCHI IN TOKYO keeps the characters and situations of the other TENCHI series, but emphasizes drama and romance over comedy.
