When a young girl named Tsubasa follows a shooting star only to find that it is actually a spacecraft that has fallen to Earth, she meets a friendly alien who gives her a clone of herself named Hikaru. However, when hostile aliens begin making their way to Earth, Tsubasa finds that she can merge with Hikaru to form Figure 17, a bio-humanoid combat system that may be the Earth's only hope against the extraterrestrial invaders.
