This iteration of the GUNDAM series takes place during the year Future Century 60, the year of the Gundam Fight tournament. Held on Earth, the tournament features one Gundam from each competing country fighting in a series of battles to win prestige and a certain amount of power for one's home country. Never one to get caught up in the hype and hysteria surrounding the competition, Japan's representative, Domon Kasshu, senses something is amiss with this year's tournament.
