Written and directed by celebrated animator Yoshiyuki Tomino (MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM, ASTROBOY), OVERMAN KING GAINER is a sci-fi anime series about an oppressive, dystopian future and the men who dare to rebel against it. Gainer and his friend, Gain, both live in Domepolis, an enclosed city designed to protect against the environmental disasters that have made much of the earth inhabitable. Domepolis is ruled by IMA, a dictatorial organization that has outlawed exodus from the city, prompting Gainer and Gain to form a resistance movement seeking to escape the watchful eye of the IMA and travel to the heralded land of Yapan. As their achievement begins to inspire people around the city to resist the rule of IMA, the government dispatches ruthless agent Asuham Boone to eliminate the men in a daring game of cat-and-mouse. In this fourth volume of episodes, Gainer and Gain face a new villain in the form of Kashmir, who utilizes sinister psychological warfare to achieve his nefarious aims.
