In the 1970s, the anime series GETTA ROBO began the entire mecha/giant robot genre craze. NEW GETTER ROBO is a remake of that classic series, combining science fiction with fantastical supernatural elements. Master fighter Ryoma has been enlisted by the brilliant Dr. Saotome to pilot the powerful mechanical being known as Getter Robo. Ryoma and Getter Robo must now battle to defeat the evil demons known as Oni before the monsters can invade the world. VOLUME THREE: THE HELL ON EARTH contains three episodes of the action packed anime. After an epically long battle against the Oni, Ryoma returns to Earth so Dr. Saotome can improve Getter Robo.
