The Japanese animated tale, FUSHIGI YUGI, based on the comic book (manga) by Yuu Watase, follows the adventures of Miaka and Yui, two schoolgirls who become trapped in a kingdom which is written about in a magic book called The Universe of the Four Gods. With danger at every turn, Miaka and Yui must do anything they can to find their way home, but their responsibilities as important kingdom leaders often sidetrack them from returning to their former lives.
