The sequel to the science fiction adventure anime STRATOS 4, STRATOS 4: RETURN TO BASE features the same girl pilots blasting meteors action as the regular series. The four heroines, having saved the Earth from a comet-induced apocalypse, are finally granted a tropical vacation away from the cold reaches of outer space. However, they are quickly called back into action when Orbital Station 7 is sent hurtling towards the surface of Earth after an accident in space. Can the expert pilots stop the space station's descent while at the same time rescuing the innocent people trapped aboard it?

The whimsical series follows the comedic adventures of its eponymous heroine, a mischievous cat-girl living in two worlds: the everyday plane of human beings, and a parallel universe of cat-people which takes place without human knowledge.
