When 15 year-old Kagome Higurashi falls down a well, she finds herself magically transported to medieval Japan, a place inhabited by demons and goblins. Here, she must search the countryside with the demon dog Inuyasha for the sacred Jewel of Four Souls. Inuyasha is half human and half demon. The jewel, now broken into shards, would fulfill Inuyasha desire to finally become full fledged demon. In these three episodes, Inuyasha and his friends go to the Coastal Region to fight a mass of Bat Demons. Inuyasha meets another half demon, a bat girl named Shiori. They form an emotional bond based on their half-breed status, but Inuyasha learns the only way to increase his power is to kill her. Also, a pack of demon cats kidnap Kagome for the jewel shards. Set in the distant future, the newly adopted world of Yamamoto Yohko has adopted a very civilized, albeit sometimes unfair, system of settling conflict between nations. When a contentious situation arises between two nations, each side selects a squad of pilots, provides them with spaceships, and lets them battle for whatever is being argued over. Unfortunately, the Terrans have been dealt a series of defeats, due to their lack of skilled pilots. So, Terran officials scour the past for female fighter pilots and find Yamamoto, who is comfortably entrenched in her late 20th century life.
