After losing his older brother, sixth-grader Ritsuka Aoyagi has no one to look up to. When a man named Sobi Agatsuma appears and claims to have known his brother from battle, Ritsuki is intrigued to find out more about the world that took his brother from him. Putting his own life in danger, Ritsuka becomes acquainted with an organization that calls itself the Septimal Moon.
