Attempting to appeal to both male and female audiences with action and romantic elements, KYO KARA MAOH! is a progressive and occasionally satirical anime series featuring openly gay characters. Directed by Junji Nishimura, the series follows Yuri Shibuya, a teenager who is transported to a fantastic medieval world as the result of his standing up to some bullies at school. Once in this strange land, Yuri`s dark features cause him to be made king of Mazoku. But Yuri`s kind nature and pacifism run counter to the warlike nature of the people of Mazoku, and this places their kingdom in jeopardy, as they are on the brink of war. VOLUME FOUR contains five episodes in which Yuri tries to find diversions from his strenuous training to become king. When he hears that a devil stone with special powers has been taken, Yuri rushes off to find the person who stole it. This is just the first in a series of escapades that Yuri willingly puts himself in the middle of. Other adventures include a close encounter with a dragon and a battle against a monster.

Combining space travel, pirates, and advanced technology, MARS DAYBREAK is a science-fiction anime based on the PlayStation 2 game KENRAN BUTOUSAI. After the conclusion of a lengthy war, the economy of Mars suffers through a terrible depression, creating an increasingly desperate populace willing to engage in theft and piracy. While Gram struggles to survive, he falls in with a gang of notorious pirates, and finds himself forced by association to flee military forces along with them. Although reluctant to join the crew at first, he slowly becomes accustomed to the pirate life and begins to thirst for excitement. MARS DAYBREAK is a cheery anime series of high adventure, with a moderation of sex and violence not usually found in similar programs. In this second volume, Gram, now a legitimate pirate, adjusts to the danger that his line of work brings. But things spiral out of control when his gang captures the Earth president`s granddaughter only to have her decide she wants to stay on their pirate ship.

Genma is the nefarious leader of one of the Earth's remaining tribes, the Mah, and has recently become obsessed with fathering an heir. He strikes a deal with a woman from the Hito tribe since he thinks the mixture will create a child with supernatural powers and ends up with a set of twins, Loof and Jin. Genma takes Loof to be raised as prince of the Mah while Jin is left among the Hito, setting up a bitter rivalry in the years to come. In a cave in a small village, treasure hunters Hyde and Sakura battle monsters and find themselves in the midst of wild seductions as they search for the legacy of the old world.
