A remake of the original HANAUKYO MAID TEAM series, HANAUKYO MAID TEAM LA VERITE is actually a more faithful adaptation of the manga that both titles are based on. Taro Hanaukyo's parents are dead, and his grandfather has passed the family mansion and wealth to him. Included in that package, however, is the mansion's veritable army of beautiful maids, whose only purpose is to serve Taro. What seems too good to be true turns out to be just that, as Taro finds himself constantly at the mercy of the maids' comedic antics, with head maid Muriel his only saving grace. HANAUKYO MAID TEAM LA VERITE still contains the absurdist comedy and Harem-genre titillation of its predecessor, but has complemented it with more sophisticated animation and plotting. Since he was a boy, Yorn always wondered about the origins and mysteries of the Edens, two floating cities that turn out to be more sinister than they appear. Yorn's encounters with the Edens begin when his father is murdered by assassins from the two cities and he finds out that he's going to be next. Soon, Yorn has begun a quest to find his long-lost mother and discover the truth about his family. In these episodes, Yorn and the others finally reach Rubeed, only to find that the princess is no longer there.
