From AnimU director Tetsuo Sato (STELLVIA) comes the science fiction mystery SHIGU: SECRET OF THE STELLAR WARS. The year is 2070. Hajime is a regular high school student who is disconcerted by the strange events going on around him. First, an alien spaceship appears in the sky above Tokyo, which seems to herald the arrival of a new, unusual student named Muryou. Muryou immediately makes an enemy of Kyoichi, the class president. This rivalry piques Hajime's interest, and his investigation of the series of unusual events leads to revelations he never could have expected. VOLUME TWO features five episodes of the AnimU series. In this volume, the annual athletics contest at the school provides a relief from recent events, but also another opportunity for Muryou and Kyoichi to vie with each other. But is the event also distracting Hajime from the growing danger around him?
