Continuing the adaptation of the original anime television series, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED: THE FAR-AWAY DREAM is part of a series of feature films re-presenting the events of the series. Far in the future, the genetically-modified Coordinators and Earth-bound Naturals are fighting a great war using their technologically advanced Gundam suits. Kira Yamato is a Coordinator allied with the Naturals against his own people. As the war begins, Kira soon learns that the commander of the Coordinators is his old friend, Athrun.
