In the small, European country the Grand Duchy of Ebenbourg, not much happens. That is, until the ruler, Eric, is exiled and replaced by the impoverished scholar Claude. Eric, however, vows to recover his throne, and begins to plot Claude's demise. Called back to serve his country, Claude must become accustomed to life in a mansion and learn to take over all of Eric's duties, which includes satisfying the alluring maid Mylene.
