Based on a manga by Renjuro Kindaichi, the comedy anime series HARE+GUU fashions a charming metaphor for sibling rivalry. The series focuses on 10-year-old Hare, who lives with his loving single mother, Weda, in an idyllic jungle village. But Hare`s peaceful life is shattered when his mother adopts a little orphan girl named Guu, whose sweet exterior conceals a dark, malevolent soul bent on torturing her new older brother. Strange and funny, the television anime continues with episodes five to seven.
