Based on a popular manga, the blood-drenched anime series PEACEMAKER follows the adventures of a teenage samurai as he teeters between childhood innocence and adult experience in the Meiji period of 19th-century Japan. Tetsunosuke Ichimura was a young child when his parents were murdered by an evil band of Choshu assassins, and at the age of 15, he finally gets his chance at revenge by joining their enemies, the Shinsengumi samurai. Nagisa is a regular Japanese teenager who begins to witness a series of strange events going on around her. Soon she is contacted by the interstellar warrior Iczer 1, who needs Nagisa's help to stop the evil lesbian aliens known as the Cthuwulf. To aid in their effort, Iczer 1 unveils Iczer Robo, a giant robot that the pair can pilot in their battles against the invaders. One of the best mecha series to come out of Japan in recent years, GARASAKI is the story of Yushirou, the 4th son of the Gowa family, who provides Japan with special tactical armor.
