Based on a popular video game, POPOTAN is an unusual genre-bending Anime: part comedy, part character drama, part mahou shoujo (magical girl), with a dose of ecchi (playful nudity) thrown in for good measure. The series centers around Daichi, who meets the three sisters Ai, Mii, and Mai, and their maid Mea. The girls live in a strange mansion which can teleport around the world, allowing them to look for Popotan, magical dandelions that Ai can speak with. In VOLUME 2: ENIGMA, the mystery of the Popotan begins to become clear, as does the reason that the sisters are seeking it out.
